This past Sunday night I went for a "Mom" trip to Pittsburgh. I wanted to share some of the information with you in case you are interested. A Sunday night is a great time to travel in Pittsburgh. Not much traffic or waiting. We first checked into our hotel "HILTON GARDEN INN PITTSBURGH UNIVERSITY PLACE". I would not recommend this place since it did not have free parking or breakfast, but I was happy with how clean the hotel was when we stayed there.
We went to the Primanti Brothers for dinner. They had wings and sandwiches and I tried the big sandwich with the fries and the coleslaw. A fun place to hang out before we went to the show.
We then went to the Van Gogh immersive experiences which bring paintings to life on the walls of a warehouse with large projectors. We were the only ones in the show! I enjoyed the experience but thought it was expensive with a ticket over $50. Maybe there are discounts that I did not find? The show and the night was memorable with my friends.
I paid for this trip and my opinions are my own.
